About Beer Northwest

Follow us on Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook.

First and foremost, Beer Northwest wouldn’t exist without the love and care from contributing writers and photographers both near and far, and to all of our readers and supporters who have kicked it with us at festivals, sent us wonderful emails, and shared kind words.

A huge thank you goes to our advertisers, both new and old, who support us because they believe in what we’re doing. Cheers!

The Beer Northwest Trifecta
”Trifecta” as a slang term is used to describe any successful or favorable phenomenon that comes in threes. In this case, it’s three chicks living in Portland, Oregon.

Megan Flynn: Publisher/Editor-In-Chief
megan@beernw.com
Megan is the mind behind Beer Northwest. Whilst toiling away after graduating with her Bachelors in Journalism, Megan realized there was a wide open gap in the market for a beer magazine that would be friendly to beer geeks and newcomers alike. Thus, Beer Northwest was born.

Annalou Vincent, Art Director

Annalou Vincent: Art Director
annalou@beernw.com
Having spent her life exploring the world, Annalou now lives in Portland where her passion for food culture is expressed through her photography. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Professional Photography and has worked with some of the finest photographers in the world. Her zeal for the editorial industry began while working with Spa Magazine as the art director’s assistant. She has been with the magazine since Day One, rides her bike absolutely everywhere, and bowls under the name Bobbi.

Katie Brown: Sales and Marketing Director
katie@beernw.com
Katie has bounced up and down the I-5 corridor in the past few years. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree she knows she’ll never use, worked in radio in Portland, Corvallis, and Eugene, lived in Japan for a year teaching English, and is the newest addition and third leg to the tri-pod that is Beer Northwest. She may be in charge of sales, but don’t let that deter you, she’s actually a lot of fun. She makes horribly inappropriate jokes, drives a bumper-sticker clad old Volvo, and has been best friends with Megan since they were 2 years old.
